The AESOP 2019 Congress in Venice was one of this project's last moments of dissemination, with two presentations.
Within track number 11: Urban metabolism and circular economy, the first presentation, entitled "Redesign an Assessment Tool (SEA) by focusing on cities Climate Change Response" focused on the redesign of Strategic Environmental Assessment procedures in order to successful address urban metabolism through the introduction of the MIA framework.
The second presentation "Rethinking Urban Metabolism Approaches: The MIA Framework" demonstrated the intricacies of the development of the MIA framework and its potential as a method of urban analysis, and presented some results from its application to the project's case studies.
