The 11th CITTA annual conference, this year in Coimbra, was viewed as a crucial opportunity to convey the latest project developments within the Portuguese planning community. 

In par with the conference's theme, the presentation entitled 'Metabolic Impact Assessment for Strategic Urban Planning' focused on the possibilities of this project's framework to contribute to the reflection on the current challenges of urban areas, namely under the umbrella of the environmental impacts.
